Resumen

La pubertad precoz en niñas, la cual se caracteriza por la aparición temprana de caracteres sexuales secundarios, maduración esquelética acelerada y aumento en la velocidad de crecimiento, es una causa frecuente de consulta endocrinológica que representa un desafío diagnóstico. El objetivo de esta revisión es proporcionar herramientas para identificar la pubertad precoz y diferenciarla de variantes fisiológicas permitiendo de esta manera iniciar oportunamente tratamiento con análogos de Hormona liberadora de gonadotrofinas (GnRH).
